Living Library
Tarih: Date -
Dear TEDU Family,
We are the TED University LOGOS Student Society. We aim to create spaces where every individual can express themselves freely without the boundaries created in social life, regardless of religion, language, race, diversity of thought, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Accordingly, we organize various awareness events. We would like to invite you to the Living Library.
The aim of the Living Library, which we will hold for the thirteenth time this year, is to create a space free from prejudice, allowing individuals to express themselves freely and participants to listen to them with empathy. Our event features "books" and "readers". The books are individuals with a specific identity, perspective, belief, sexual orientation, or life experience. The readers, on the other hand, are the participants who interact with the books one-on-one or in small groups and ask questions.
We will share the list of our books (participants) for this year on our Instagram account.
This year's Living Library Event will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, between 13:00 and 18:00 at the TED University Prep School Grass Area. Our event will consist of two sessions:
- 13:00–15:00 First Session
- 15:00–16:00 Break
- 16:00–18:00 Second Session
